Pubbage is a new breed of arcade game

Ok, so enough with the marketing mumbo jumbo, what is pubbage?
Pubbage is a mildly massively multiplayer arcade game format, primarily aimed at social venues such as bars and nightclubs, using the existing infrastructure of the venue and the players to create unique and targetted gaming experiences. The current incarnation of Pubbage uses the projector screens and TV screens in the venue as the display medium and the players own bluetooth enabled mobile phones as the controllers. The games are designed to create social interactions
and for those of us that don't speak geek?
pubbage is our new arcade game system for pubs and clubs, built for loads of players at once instead of the usual one or two. Actually, its something we call a mildly Massively Multiplayer game-its not just a few people playing, we want everyone in the room involved.
Most bars have a big screen they play the footy on, but just blast you with promotional stuff or music videos to songs that aren't even playing on the speakers, so we're going to put our game on that.
Most arcade games have a big screen with a couple of controllers in front of it. We're going to use your bluetooth enabled mobile phone to control the action. Load up our little app, hit connect and your phone works just like console controller.
On that big screen, with your little controllers, we won't be just playing a big game of pong, our games are designed so that instead of just staring blindly at the screen, you'll be arguing and harassing your team mates and rivals, dancing on the tables and doing silly dares. Of course, if table dancing isn't your thing, we tone down the game to something a little bit more mellow.
Thats another neat thing we do, we make sure the game you play matches whats going on. We don't want to play a slow mellow game in a crazy nightclub or play a mind bending puzzle with the first 9am pint. We're guessing neither do you, so our games are all matched to the tempo and mood, the time of day and the kind of crowd thats likely to be playing.
Enough jibba jabba, whats the game?
Ok, we plan to have a whole range of games you can player, but for now we have the dubiously named ShootyQuiz game.

Currently our flagship game, shootyQuiz is our badly named, but slightly more fun to play mashup between a pub quiz and an arcade shoot em up. Questions pop up and teams have to fight for control of the answers. Get the right answer back to your base before the time runs out to score a point.
